Urgent medical appeal to save the life of an infant in the city of Qamishli who is suffering from a congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection that has led to bile duct obstruction in the liver. The infant requires intensive, long-term treatment programs and specialized medications that cannot be obtained locally. The family is living in an extremely tragic situation below the extreme poverty line and is completely unable to cover the high hospital expenses or purchase the required medications and medical supplies needed to save his life and continue his treatment. In addition, the family is living in very harsh conditions in a dilapidated and unfit shelter, making the home environment completely unsuitable for the boy’s return after discharge from the hospital, highlighting the urgent need to provide the family with safe and adequate housing immediately.
